6 30-- There was tsunami of rain falling outside, and there was rehearsal at 7 00. Awesome.
Rehearsal was, of course, canceled especially since the power on the entire campus went out for a solid hour. Must of the girls in upper 5 Gordis decided to promptly sit in the hallway for light emitted from the generator. I honestly just wanted to get my writing and rhetoric homework done.
Oh the glory days of my youth.

Chamber Orchestra went up to Daytona Beach today to play with Marvin Hamlisch at the Peabody auditorium. I was... interesting to say the least. We did not play in many songs and we were there from 3:00 to 9:00. We only played for an hour and a half for that time (counting rehearsal before the show) so while we waited we decided to explore downtown.
The highlight of my day was indeed going to the beach. No matter how cold the water was.
...and after the concert, killer migraine... gotta love it.

Had a relatively slow day today, so there was a lot of goofing of.. of course. The percussion room is always a great place to explore, and watch whoever is practicing in the room.

MLK day. What better way to celebrate than to lounge around all day in the library and walking around down town in the evening?
Especially with the one I love so much! :]
We also saw some crazy things down town, like bums holding conversations with themselves, and a pretty awesome cafe, thought the name was amusing...
6 (there and back) hours on a bus with loud-mouth musicians and disdain for losing my 3 day weekend.
If Palm Beach wasn't absolutely beautiful then I would have been really mad.
but... I had fun with all my friends.
and they had an awesomely large tree.. :]

Saturday afternoon and nothing to do besides the outrageous amount of homework I was assigned this weekend.
I find that I can only do do homework [efficiently] in the library; I get too distracted in my room...
... I us usually start cleaning. I'm such a compulsive cleaner... Is that bad....?
Well we are suppose to have a three day weekend. However, Stetson what so gracious to decide to take two of those days and schedule a opera performance in Palm Beach.

I feel like it's been a a month already since I've been back from break...

Long, long... long day today.
I have a feeling it will be this way for the rest of the semester. I'm excited though.
Chad reapplied for Berklee today, which is even more exciting!
